Pastor Minnie R. McGee Washington

Thank God for Jesus!   For with God, nothing shall be impossible!

Minnie R. Washington, a native of Hollister, North Carolina, became a new creature in Christ in 1957; and since then, she has made full proof of her calling to be a “doer of the Word, and not a hearer only.”  Her ministry calling is rooted in the missional Commission of Christ in Matthew 28:19-20, and her life scriptures are Luke 1:37 and Romans 8:28.

She has served in Women’s Ministry throughout the United States for over fifty years at conventions, conferences, seminars, retreats, revivals and Women’s Days, across denominational lines.

In 1983, she founded the Possibility Place Christian Ministry as a missional effort for women and children in distress.  It flourished into an annual retreat which provides a platform for Christian education, spiritual growth and financial support for the mission field.

She now Pastors in succession of her husband, Dr. Carl L. Washington, Sr., at the St. Timothy’s Christian Baptist Church; is a lifetime member of the United Baptist Missionary Convention of Maryland, where she currently serves as Missions instructor; and the Lott Carey Foreign Missions Convention where she has served across the nation as Missions instructor for many years.
