Reverend Ralph Taylor, Jr.

Ralph is currently employed as a computer engineer, working with interna­tion­al teams writing and testing codes for the vast network of communications and services that his employer provides throughout the world.  

 

Blessed with a passion for teaching the Word of God, and a desire to share the Gospel everywhere he goes, Ralph has preached and taught and ministered in churches, in schools, on college campuses, institutions, at conferences/retreats, most recently in Jamaica and is willing to go any­where the Lord sends him.

At an early age he distinguished himself as a scholar and was accepted into the Gifted and Talented Education (G.A.T.E.) program at the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, the M.E.S.A. (Mathematics, Engineering & Science) program in middle school, and the A-Course in computer engineering at the prestigious Baltimore Polytechnic High School.  Excelling in his studies, he received many scholarships to various colleges, and chose to attend Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey; he graduated suma cum laude with a Bachelor in Engineering, Electrical Engineering and minor in music. 

 

He is married to Liberty Taylor and they have nine children, Autumn, Catherine, Ralph, III, Jonathan, William, Ann, Emma, Washington and Pia.  He and his family serve at the St. Timothy’s Christian Baptist Church together in various ministries.  He is the Minister of Youth and Young Adults; Sunday School teacher; Vacation Bible School teacher; Young Adult Bible Class instructor; team leader for the annual Prayer Walk in the church community; has always been a tither, musician and music director; staff member with the Possibility Place Christian Ministries; missionary, and founding member of B.A.S.I.C. (Brothers and Sisters in Christ) ministry to students.
